“Kick-off Symposium for World Leading Research Centers -Materials Science and Spintronics-”（Feb. 18-21, 2018）, “Tohoku-Purdue Workshop” (Feb. 18, 2018) and “Tohoku/SG Spin Workshop” (Feb. 20-21, 2018)
Tohoku University has officially been selected as one of the Designated National University on June 30, 2017, we thus will hold the joint kick-off symposium on the two research fields, “Materials Science” and “Spintronics” at Sendai International Center. Before and after the symposium, two satellite workshops “Tohoku-Purdue Workshop on Novel Spintronics Physics and Materials for Future Information Processing” (18th)、and ”Tohoku/SG-Spin Workshop on Spintronics” (20th～21st) will be also held at Laboratory for Nanoelectronics and Spintronics, Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University.
